It amazes me how far I've come already. I remember whining because I was losing weight so slowly and now here I am 3 months later and almost 30 pounds gone. There is noway I'm giving up now, not when I'm so close to being under 200 lbs and then its all downhill from there. I'm just going to try to watch what I eat more carefully, increase my water intake, stay on top of my exercise and do my best. If I hit my goal great, if I don't then I know I did the best I could. This goal is just a way to get myself one step closer to being under 200 lbs. The reason I set this goal was because I have been able to lose 16.4 lbs in the last 7 weeks and if I can keep that pace up then I will be close to being under 200 by New Years. If I can just get closer to 200 by New Years I will be happy. I just like challenging myself. I don't know if this is a great idea Christina. I just think that is a big goal for such a short time. I hope you are able to do it and will be your biggest cheerleader, but I worry that you will go hard hard hard then burn out and give up all together if you aren't on track. Now that being said, I love setting goals! I just think that setting too high or too low of a goal puts you at danger. I confess that I don't know off the top of my head what your loss history is in terms of how much you lose on optimal performance weeks. I just don't want to see you fail and fall off the wagon all together.
