From as far back as I can remember I have been overweight and have attempted one diet after another to try to become that skinny girl I always dreamed of being. I'm starting this blog in hopes of using this as my motivational tool to finally change my lifestyle and get healthy. Feel free to cheer me on, give me advice or criticize me if need be. I'm way tougher on myself than anyone else can be on me.

Broken Heart on Valentines Day
Just to make a long story short the guy I've been dating decided to break up with me on Valentines Day, wasn't that sweet of him? Oh well the story of my life. The funny thing is you would think this would be triggering me to eat but its having the opposite effect. I guess every dark cloud has a silver lining. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day and remember don't forget to tell the ones you love how much you love them, you never know when you aren't going to have that chance anymore.

Oh sweetie, im sorry, but my ex boyfriend broke up with me on vday too and guess what, met who is now my hubby shortly there after. Big hugs christina
ReplyDeleteThats pretty crummy of him - sorry hon.
ReplyDeleteJust from what I've seen in this short post, I think it is very clear you are better off without him. Keep your chin up--better things are on the horizon. Stay strong.
ReplyDeleteI second Becky's statement!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much it was a crummy way to dump someone with it being valentines day but I guess better now than a year from now. If anything knowing that I'm back out in the dating world has given me more motivation to get the weight off, maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
ReplyDeleteWhat a JERK! Sorry to hear that Christina, you deserve much, much better. Lots of hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear the eating is going well today. Hope the rest of your day and week goes better.
So sorry for your pain. But, a year from now you'll wonder what the big deal was;) The main thing is you're focusing on you and not going to let him sabotage all the good you've done for yourself. Keep your chin up and your weight down:)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, but take it from someone who had her share of clowns...you will meet your prince so hang in there. Never thought I would marry...but did, and 5 kids and 6 grandkids later, he is still my Valentine....some are worth waiting for!
ReplyDeleteugh! that's a crappy thing to do. you're better off without him! :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone on here is so wonderful and supportive. Thanks you all have made me feel so much better and I know it will get easier in time. Now its time to focus on me and getting in shape.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who would do that to you on Valentines day isn't worthy of you!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about that breakup. I agree with Spunky Suzi...
