It's Time

It's time to quit screwing around and get back on track with my eating and exercise.  I haven't even posted on my blog in over a week thats how slack I'm getting.  I keep saying tomorrow I will start when it needs to be right now.  Each day I feel like I'm getting alittle more of my old self back and more determined to do what I need to do.  What I'm doing right now sure isn't working.  I need to start recording my food again, journaling my feelings so I can understand my desire to eat even when I'm not hungry and I need to get my lazy butt back outside walking because the weather is beautiful so I have no excuses now.  It's time for me to start my second part of my journey to becoming health and fit, starting right now not tomorrow.

  3. Yes, yes, yes. You're right on target. Just a note. You seem to have what one of my favorite bloggers talks about--mouth hunger. You're not hungry, your gut isn't growling, your stomach isn't burning from hunger, and so on. Instead, your mouth wants to taste the food. Feel the creamy melting of chocolate sliding on your tongue and down your throat. Hear the crisp snap of eating chips. Taste sweet, sour, salt, meaty, oily, and all of the spices . . . OMG, how good!

    That's why you eat when you're not hungry. Mouth hunger. It was--and could still be--one of my biggest problems. Do keep posting in your blog. We'll rally around you and give you support in this fight for weight loss. Honest.

  4. Thanks for the support. Food Freak you are right its mouth hunger. I just have to find some way to conquer this demon.
