From as far back as I can remember I have been overweight and have attempted one diet after another to try to become that skinny girl I always dreamed of being. I'm starting this blog in hopes of using this as my motivational tool to finally change my lifestyle and get healthy. Feel free to cheer me on, give me advice or criticize me if need be. I'm way tougher on myself than anyone else can be on me.

Went Shopping
I went shopping tonight and bought my weight bench. Now I just have to put it together tomorrow and get me some weights which I'm getting from my ex for free and I'm in business. I'm also going grocery shopping tomorrow and stocking up on healthy foods so that I can get back on track with my eating. Tomorrow should be a busy day for me between cleaning the house, walking, grocery shopping, putting my weight bench together, picking up the weights from my ex, doing my weight lifting and pushups I have planned and cooking healthy meals. I got out of breath just typing all that.....lol....well you don't get anywheres without hardwork. I'll be posting an update tomorrow on my progress as the day goes by. Good luck to me.

Good luck to you, too! I don't want to put a crimp in your enthusiasm, but isn't that two or three days of work you're jamming into one? I could never do all that in one day! While I'm considerably older than you are, I couldn't have done it when I was in my 30's!
ReplyDeleteI'm not only glad you got your bench, but that you and your ex are on good enough terms that you could get the weights from him. How utterly civilized. I hope if my Mr. and I are ever ex's, we can be the same way. If we aren't, it'll definitely be my fault. I'm the hot head.

I'm encouraged that you are taking definite steps to bring about the changes in your life that you want so badly and that you deserve. Remember your support group is right here with our cheerleader outfits and pom poms!
ReplyDeleteYea we are on good terms, I try not to make to many enemies....lol....hes actually coming over tomorrow and bringing me the weights and putting the weight bench together for me so thats nice of him, one less thing I have to do. I'm definitely trying to take the steps to move forward, hope I have this enthusiasm tomorrow when it comes time to work out.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the weight bench! I LOVE weight training! It's fun, burns a ton of calories, and those muscles burn fat for HOURS after your workout! That's #winning in my book! :)
