Photography Photos

I bought a used Canon 20D camera a couple weeks ago but I haven't had much time to really try it out so I went out this morning and took some pictures.  I thought I would share some of them with you.  I know a few of my fellow bloggers are photographers so if you have any critique don't hold back.  I am always willing to get advice and tips.  This is my first class in photography this semester and I'm loving everything I'm learning.  All of these pictures were taken at the place where I got married, its called Christian Tours and it located in Denver, NC.  Just click on any of the images if you would like to see a bigger version.

  2. I was a Nikon Girl until I went digital and my first digital camera was the 10D! Stick with canon lenses and you will be very happy! Look up the Rule of Thirds, it will help you make some less centered compositions.

  3. Thank you Trisha and clickmom. They were probably more off centered until I cropped them. I have a bad tendency to center things thats something I'm having to work hard on. We have studied that in school but its so hard to remember all the things you have to look for and all the settings you have to do for every single picture. I'm sure it will get more natural as I get more practice. I appreciate any tips you can give me though. Thank you.

  4. Beautiful pictures, Christina. I absolutely adore that one with ducks. I am not a photographer, but as a painter I can also recommend that you pay attention to the golden cut. It makes a lot of difference. But, yeah, I am sure it will get easier to follow all the rules once you get some practice under your belt. :)
