Where are you from?

I got the idea for this post from a fellow blogger at http://alltheweigh2009.blogspot.com/.  Thanks so much and I hope you don't mind me borrowing your idea but I would love to know where all my blogging buddies are from.  So where is everyone from and what do you like or dislike about where you live?  If you don't want anyone knowing who you are or where you live you can leave an anonymous post if you like.

I live in Lincolnton, North Carolina.  I love living here most of the time because its a small town but sometimes that can also be annoying to because there is not much here to do.  I live one hour from the mountains and five hours from the beach so thats nice.  Other than that its just your typical small town, nothing exciting here.

  1. New Albany, IN. I don't actually love liviing here. LOL. I'm Chicago bound in a few years. I guess the best thing is that we experience all of the seasons.

  2. I live in Hillsboro, OR. It's a small-ish town about 20 miles west of Portland. I really love living here. First off it's where ALL of my family is, but we're also about 1 1/2 hours from Mt. Hood, 1 1/4 hours from the coast, 3-ish hours from desert. Oregon has everything that I love!

  3. Mesa, Arizona! And I have a love and hate relationship with it. I have lived here my entire life. Literally I have lived within the same 2 mile radius my entire life! Purchased my first home, about a mile and half awa from my moms. (never flew the coop I guess) But the HEAT is a pain in the...blank... And I love CA, but then again, we all love vacation spots.... :)

  4. Hi! Found you through the Hot 100. I live in Kerrville, Texas. I do like it here now, though it was a big adjustment for me to move to a small town three years ago. Lots of people move here when they retire, so my 40-year-old self always feels young here. The people are friendly, and I've always loved the Texas Hill Country. Plus we're pretty close to San Antonio when we need a city fix.
Hope you'll come visit me at www.fathairday.blogspot.com.

  5. I'm glad everyone liked this idea. :) I live in New York, and I love so many things about it...The skyline is beautiful from every single angle, and there's so much culture and fun...and the best cupcakes ever...:)

And my site, even though you listed it in the post, is: http://www.alltheweigh.com!

  6. I live in St. Louis, MO! I love being in the Midwest especially with the change in seasons! I grew up in a small town and couldn't wait to move to the big city. I dislike the lack of public transportation and that we are so dependent on cars. But I love my STL Cardinals!

  10. Hello from New Enlgand. I spend my weekdays in a city just north of Boston and most weekends at my camp in central Vermont. The best part of living in New England other than the sports is we get to enjoy all four seasons. The worst is we never have enough snow or a long enough snowmobiling season.
