Food and Exercise Journal

Breakfast- 1 1/2 cups bran cereal
                 1 banana
                 1 cup skim milk
                 water (16.9 oz)

Snack- cereal bar

Lunch- 6 slices turkey, 1 slice cheese and
            honey mustard on 2 slices whole wheat
            water (16.9 oz)

Dinner- small serving lasagna
            1 piece garlic bread
            water (16.9 oz)

Snack- low cal banana pudding milkshake (20 oz)
Eating was ok today I think, it could have been better.  I feel like I've been getting a little off track lately with my eating.

I didn't walk tonight only because I had other things to get done but I plan on walking 4 miles tomorrow to make up for what I missed today.

Now for my goals that I set for the week:
1. Water- 51 oz.
2. Sugar- alittle to much
3. Fruit- 2 servings
4. Vegetables- none
5. Carbs- within limits
6. Exercise- day off
7. Soda- none
8. Fast food- none


  1. I want to ask you this. You say you are off track on your eating. Is it possible you just have gotten so used to not eating a lot that now, you just automatically assume you didn't eat to well? I do that and wonder if I am not the only one.

  2. Shane maybe thats why I feel this way. I mean I'm losing weight for sure, every morning I step on the scale its going down but I just don't feel like I'm eating to healthy. I think I have the portion size under control but I'm still eating whatever is available instead of planning out what I eat. When I don't get in all my veggies or I eat to much sugar, carbs or sodium I feel bad about that. I don't want to start feeling like I have a list of good and bad foods I have to stay away from like I use to. It just seems like lately I have become unfocused on what I'm eating, not how much I'm eating.
