  8. 1. What was your highest weight, what do you weigh right now and what is your goal weight?

I'm not sure what my goal weight is though it should be somewhere between 117 and 146..I would guess I'll settle at around 125 or so. My starting weight was 393.6, and I'm down about 112 pounds so that puts me around 28 1 right now. I still have a long way to go, but I'm so getting there. :)

    2. What is your #1 motivation for losing weight?

I want to feel good and be the best version of myself..and I want to feel pretty by society's standards...just being honest..

    3. Have you always been overweight? Nah..I've always kind of thought of myself that way, but looking back in photos there was a brief time when I was really..and I was cuter than I realized..

    4. When you want to give up what inspires you to keep going?

I think about the end result..and how much easier it is to move now..how I don't get winded going up a flight of steps, etc. I love this too much to give it back.

    5. What is the #1 thing you look forward to when you hit your goal weight?

I look forward to living life free of obesity!

    6. Do you have support on your weight loss journey?

I do..from my family, my friends, my blogging buddies, etc.

    7. What is your favorite exercise?

My favorite cardio exercise is on the elliptical, and my favorite weight exercise is a side lunge with a shoulder raise. I feel like a rock star when I do that.

    8. What is the most important thing you have learned on your weight loss journey?

I've learned that I can do whatever the heck I want to do. It's so awesome to realize that I feel so much better than I ever knew I could.

    9. What is one thing you have given up that you miss the most?

I haven't given anything up. Nothing is off-limits, and I believe that's why I've been so successful in losing the first 112 pounds.

    10. What is your strategy for losing weight?

I eat healthy foods most of the time, but I eat everything in moderation..I track it in a food journal, and I exercise 5-6 days per week.

Thanks for asking these questions! I'm so proud of each of us for answering them!

  10. 1. 195, 188, 130

    2. To be happy in clothes and live the active lifestyle I crave.

    3. Except for about 2 years in high school, I have always been overweight.

    4. My goals and ideas of the future

    5. Shopping, mirrors

    6. My boyfriend and my blog

    7. Running and Snowboarding- TIE

    8. I really do have the self control to say no to my cravings, if I want to.

    9. I haven't really given anything up- just huge portions. And I suppose in a way I do miss that- it was 'pleasant' to shovel in food like that, I can honestly say. Satisfying is maybe a better word.

    10. My strategy is; 5 X per week gym for cardio and weights, 5 X per week running, 3 X per week fitness class, and only one snack between reasonable meals. Sometimes I hit all of that exercise, sometimes not, but shooting for a frequency like that helps me get in more than I would if I had a reasonable goal.

  11. 1. My highest know weight was 315 pounds, but this time around,my scales said E when I weighed and they only go to 305, so who knows what I weighed.

    2. I am motivated by the fact that I now have a family that is counting on me to get them to a place that they are secure and know that I will always be there for them to keep them that way. This all started with a vision of me being buried at an early age and my Kathy having to start over with someone who doesn't love her like I do.

    3. I have been at least some overweight most of my life. I had periods of being a more normal weight, but I never knew I was not fat, in my head, I was always fat and so I never went into a I have to maintain this weight mode. I will be more self aware this time around and I will use all my resources to keep myself healthy.

    4. this time around I have not really felt the "i want to give up" bug. I have had rough times in which I wanted to eat for the emotional reasons, but I have never said, yeah this sux, I am done.

    5. I honestly don't know what I look forward to on the goal weight thing. I guess knowing that I will be able to move even better at 197 than I can now at my present weight. It is in my head that by the time I lose another 50 pounds, that my jogging will be alot easier, so I guess that is my what i look forward to.

    6. I do. I don't have as much at home as I would like, but I have my bloggy buddies, my co-workers, my ex co-workers, and several friends.

    7. I think I like jogging and weight lifting in general about equally.

    8. That I only THOUGHT I was happy when I ate junk food. I can honestly say I have never been happier than I am right now. I don't eat fast food enough to speak of and when I do, it is usually not really fast food, it is salads from fast food places, I don't eat pizza like it is an important food group and I no longer drink a gallon of diet soda a day. I eat lean meats and veggies, drink water like it is, well , water, and I have a happiness and clarity of mind like I have never realized before!

    9. Maybe in the first month, I would have answered pizza, but I honestly don't have much of a craving for anything anymore. I have not actually given up anything, I just use portion control. If I truly want something, it can be built in but I have been able to replace the crud I used to eat with healthy choices and it has become a way of life.

    10. I simply have put myself on the Calorie Bank and Trust plan. I limit my calories for the day, no going over, and no carry overs from the day before. As a result, I began to start making better choices for calorie values in food. I now am a moving around-aholic. I walk everyday but Friday, and I don't go then because I do a 5k on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I have been working on getting my walking/jogging 5k on Saturday down to the 40 minute range. I lift weights every morning Monday thru Thursday. My family has been hiking quite a bit here lately.

  13. 1. What was your highest weight, what do you weigh right now and what is your goal weight?
My highest was at the end of my last pregnancy at 260, I am now about 240. I don't keep track of weight much, mainly inches. At a size six I weighed 165, that still sounds like a lot even though I was tiny, the scale is like a torture machine to me so I just go by my size usually. But I guess since at my smallest I was 165 that is my goal again.

    2. What is your #1 motivation for losing weight?
To have the energy to enjoy my life with my family to the fullest! To have this burden lifted so I can focus all my energies on the more important things in life.

    3. Have you always been overweight?
No, very fit until age 19, gained a little first year of marriage, I gained a bit first pregnancy, lost it then got preggo again, lost a child, got pregnant again and now I am where I am now at my largest save for the last pregnancy.

    4. When you want to give up what inspires you to keep going?
My favorite old clothes that I still have, my husband, kids, the memory of how great it felt to be fit and feel fabulous.

    5. What is the #1 thing you look forward to when you hit your goal weight?
Feeling normal again and liking what I see when I get dressed in the morning.

    6. Do you have support on your weight loss journey?
    Some. Not a ton.

    7. What is your favorite exercise?
Exercise ball workouts, I love how it really gets my core burning fast.

    8. What is the most important thing you have learned on your weight loss journey?
That it is not about the weight but it is not not about the weight.

    9. What is one thing you have given up that you miss the most?
Soda, but I don't ever say I can never have one ever again, then I might binge on it! Don't wan that.

    10. What is your strategy for losing weight?
Exercise and good home cooking. Healthy fats, good meat, lots of good, natural, food!

  18. Hello to the lovely Christina!

    1. Highest - 323
    Now - 221.8
    Goal - Between 180-190
I don't have a definite goal in mind. I just know that I don't want to maintain an unrealistic weight. I just want to be healthy!

    2. To not have my mom's health problems. I already have high blood pressure and pray that I can drop enough weight to get this in check!

    3. Except at birth.

    4. Knowing there are people who look up to me, that many people out there have it worse and all the bloggers who inspire me!

    5. Not having to shop at Lane Bryant ever again. Being able to walk in a normal store and try something on!

    6. I have some amazing supporters!

    7. Running and kettlebell workouts

    8. Every day is a new one and it is up to me to make the right choices. But when I don't to own up to them and then move on.

    9. I haven't given anything up. I eat most things within moderation. But I don't eat much pizza anymore. So Pizza. I believe you have to live the life you want and be able to maintain it. You can't cut everything. Trust me I tried it that way and it was a no win situation.

    10. A balanced 1700 diet, exercise 6 days a week and a daily piece of chocolate for my sanity!

  24. 1. What was your highest weight, what do you weigh right now and what is your goal weight?
My highest weight ever was 135kg. My weight (as of 27th Sept) was 104.7kg. I don't have a specific goal other than less than 80kg. It might go as low as less than 70kg, but i will decided when i am closer to this.

    2. What is your #1 motivation for losing weight?
To be fit and healthy, so be happy within myself.

    3. Have you always been overweight?
Yes, except for about 2 years in there somewhere

    4. When you want to give up what inspires you to keep going?
my stubborn streak! The support and encouragement of my family & friends. Knowing that quitting will make me feel worse than pushing forward.

    5. What is the #1 thing you look forward to when you hit your goal weight?
Sky diving (when i reach 90kg goal). being able to find clothes in 'normal' stores. Trying all the stuff i have put off cause i was too fat or too unfit.

    6. Do you have support on your weight loss journey?
    Yes - an unbelievable amount

    7. What is your favorite exercise?
Hmm....... exercising with Trish and Ky. No matter what we do, we always have a laugh. yes the exercise itself is hard and can be painful, but we keep each other going and you don't mind so much.

    8. What is the most important thing you have learned on your weight loss journey?
To ask for help. To tell your support group when you need to chat or really need someone to drag your arse out of bed for that walk. To confront and deal with your emotions, not hide them behind food.

    9. What is one thing you have given up that you miss the most?
I try not to deny myself anything and by telling yourself 'no' i think you want it more. I have my no counting meal once a month, so if i am wanting a giant treat - i have it then. I also allow myself a littler treat once a week, and its funny cause since i started giving myself permission to do that, i rarely want to.

    10. What is your strategy for losing weight?
Make exercise fun - it's not always about being the strongest or faster. its just about being active. I want to be an active person - so instead of meeting for a coffee and cake, i meet my friends for a walk. Don't do it alone - ask for help, you'll be surprised at the people who give it to you.
